Intelligent Transportation Systems

Intelligent Transportation Systems – ITS Israel is home to start-ups, municipal officials, engineers, and a variety of transportation experts.

Our mission

To assist transportation authorities and operators, relevant academies, industries, and start-ups in developing and implementing innovative technological solutions for the transportation echo system. To enhance service quality, operational efficiency, environmental responsibility, and safety.

The association covers several and diverse subject areas, including:

    • Public transportation technologies and operations
    • Smart cities:
    • Advanced Infrastructures
    • V2X Communication
    • Autonomous echo-system: Driving assistance systems,  Driving aid systems
    • Fleet management
    • Passenger and automotive safety
    • Rescue and Emergency
    • Start-up acceleration and mentoring

Our activities include, conferences, seminars, workshops and courses, as well as collaboration with universities, research institutes and transportation authorities globally.

Conduct broad worldwide partnerships with ITS organizations.

Our Goals & Activities

    • To distribute ITS technologies and methodologies throughout Israel

    • To establish an ecosystem in which stakeholders may collaborate, share, implement, research, and deploy ITS methodologies and technologies.

    • To establishment of an academic track and ITS training and ITS courses and assimilation of ITS technologies
    • To promote interconnections between start-ups, market needs, potential customer, and investors through global intra-ITS partnerships
    • To promote local assimilation of ITS technologies by collaborating with government and municipal entities
    • To promote collaboration with IEEE society, in particular the *IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS) chapter
    • To conduct recurrent events such as podcasts and round tables in order to make ITS more accessible for the ITS community and associations
