Chairman's introduction
Greetings,
After the automobile conference we had last month, I felt it was right to reach out to you and tell you a little bit about our organization, introduce the ITS Association, and get feedback on your areas of expertise.
Few words about ourself: In 2008, the ITS Israel was founded. 2017 was the year we joined AEAI (the Association of Engineers, Architects and Graduates in Technological Sciences in Israel). Volunteers manage the union, which has an independently budget funded by fees.
At the ITS Association, our goal is to implement intelligent systems and technologically and operationally improve the management and execution systems of transportation on land, in the air and at sea.
We are interested in hearing from all engineers, programmers, philosophers, researchers, architects, and entrepreneurs.
Our modus operandi includes, among other things, support for start-up companies, groundbreaking technologies, training of engineers and interested parties with a comprehensive broad vision or focusing on areas of knowledge, assisting government bodies, academia, local authorities, etc. in the implementation of MTA, including a link to smart city systems, autonomous, and connected.
We are connected to other ITS organizations throughout the world and can utilize these relationships for your benefit.
We are preparing the following activities for the upcoming period, some of which are mentioned below, in the following articles on this website, and some of which will be published later…
An introductory course that provides an overview of the most important issues in the field of ITS in Israel and around the world.
Through our links with other ITS associations, we assist startup companies in locating partners for global demonstration of capability/joint initiatives.
As part of the "Mobility as a Service, MaaS" idea, conducting a series of discussions and cooperative deliberations on how to operate public transportation in Israel.
Additional activities, including podcasts in the field of ITS, connections with local authorities as guidance for the adoption of the innovative concept in public service, and more...
Thank you and have a nice day!
